In more usual times, this coming weekend would have been the annual Barnes Fair. But fear not, in true Barnes Fair style, the BCA will be holding a Summer Shopping Spree instead on Saturday 10th July 12-5 pm.

There will be Pimm’s (available to purchase at Rose House HQ), a tombola, live music throughout the village, an antique market on Barnes Green, and lots of special offers from local retailers.
The Clothesroom will have an amazing bargain rail up with nothing over £30 – so come down and grab yourself a steal! It will feature a mix of brands and styles, so there will be something for everyone.

The Saturday will also mark the first day of our up to 50% OFF Summer Sale. It is the perfect time to come down and visit the shop.

We can’t wait to see you all again!

We are delighted to announce that The Clothesroom will be open to all of our wonderful customers again from June 15th.

To start with we will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 11am – 4pm.
You are also still welcome to take advantage of our “shop by appointment” initiative outside of those hours by contacting us directly.

To ensure the safest possible environment…
– Our staff will wear masks at all times
– Hand sanitisers will be made available
– One changing room will be accessible and will be cleaned and sprayed after each use
– You are still welcome to take a selection to try on at home if you prefer, up to 4 pieces. A full refund will be issued upon return of all unwanted items.
– All clothing will be steamed after trying and “quarantined” away from other stock for 48hrs
– And we kindly request that all customers wear a mask for the duration of their visit

We are taking every reasonable precaution to ensure that your visit is safe as well as enjoyable and we very much look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Missing your trips to The Clothesroom?

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and enjoying this amazing weather!

As you know we have temporally closed The Clothesroom
– as per the government’s guidelines.

There have been several enquiries about accepting appointments at the shop.

I have decided, after a lot of thought, that we will be able to accommodate private appointments, where Gurley (who has helped me out in the past) will assist you. This will operate on a strict one person at a time policy and you will be asked to maintain a reasonable distance at all times.

You will be able to select up to 6 of our beautiful pieces to take away with you and try on in the comfort of your own home.

We will take a credit card payment for the items that you take before you leave. You will be entitled to a full refund for your items (minus any that you decide to keep) once you have tried them on! Providing they are returned in a scalable condition of course.

If you cannot make it down to the shop, we will also be able to do local home delivery. Keeping to all the recommended social distancing guidelines.
